Sometimes, bathrooms in apartment buildings in crowded urban areas have no doors on order to cut construction costs. Some renters install their own conventional doors, while many others hang a curtain rod at the doorways and purchase or make curtains to cover the entrance. There are ready made bathroom door curtains available now from home centers, but you can make one. Select a sturdy, long lasting fabric and install a curtain rod with the brackets and wood

screws that come in the package. You can hem the fabric all around to get rid of loose edgings, but if the curtain is very heavy material, just fold it over the curtain road and stitch the top in place. You might want to use a heavy needle like a carpet needed, with heavier thread. Thinner materials can use a regular needle and thread. Make several curtains and change them with the seasons.
