How To Estimate Driveway Costs Asphalt driveways are typically priced by the “ton”. Currently in that part of New England asphalt driveways cost about $110 to $130 per ton installed with little to no base prep. In order to estimate the cost of a driveway resurfacing or a total new driveway you need to understand how to calculate the total tons.
